Artron took the opportunity at DSEI 2019 to launch the marketing of its Artron-Cygnus US+ SoM card, which it will soon be offering to potential users.

The Artron-Cygnus US+ SoM processor card can carry out high-performance processing tasks, and despite being small in size, comes with numerous input and output interfaces.  The card will join a product family that covers a broad range of different capabilities.

The card is not subject to such export restrictions as ITAR, and contains no components of Chinese origin, which are among its main advantages.

The firm began sharing user guides for the Artron-Cygnus US+ SoM card at the event, and is planning to issue a prototype card before the end of the year, with first orders expected after January.  The card will also be on display at Embedded World 2020, which will be held in Germany in February.
