The special coverage published in the 58th issue of MSI Turkish Defence Review (TDR) is below:

ATA ARMS came to Eurosatory with the intention of promoting its tactical shotguns, part of its broad product family, and to unveil its 40 mm under-barrel grenade launcher BA 40 and its 7.62×51 mm (.308 WIN) sniper rifle ASR 308.

Building on the expertise gained in the production of eight different components for MPT-76 rifles, ATA ARMS developed the MPT-76-compatible BA 40 grenade launcher in response to the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF). The grenade launcher can be dismounted from the MPT-76 and used as a stand-alone weapon with the help of a detachable stock and grip, and is capable of launching 40 mm standard grenades to a distance of 400 metres. Company officials state that the product stands out from its international counterparts with its light weight and dual-feed feature, and said that the company is currently at the signing stage of the grenade launcher procurement project conducted by the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM).

Having refined its 63-year experience in shotgun production, ATA ARMS displayed at the exhibition its ASR 308 sniper rifle, which is an advanced version of the TURQUA hunting rifle designed previously by the company. The ASR 308, which has an accuracy of less than 1 MOA, has been tested by various institutions, and taking into consideration the related feedback received the rifle has been equipped with such tactical features as a MIL-STD compatible Picatinny rail and an adjustable stock. The dry weight of the ASR 308 is 5.7 kg, and it has a 61 cm barrel. Featuring a bolt-action mechanism, the rifle has a five-cartridge detachable box magazine.
